ZIGBEE BASED INDUSTRIAL CONTROL SYSTEM
An embedded system is a system designed to perform one or a few
dedicated functions often with real-time computing constraints. It is embedded
as part of a complete device often including hardware and mechanical parts. In
contrast, a general-purpose computer, such as a personal computer, is designed to be flexible and to meet a wide range of an
end-user's needs. Embedded systems control many of the common devices in use
today.
Wireless Industrial control system is
also an example of embedded system based project. In this project we can
control some industrial devices such as motors, Lights etc from all over the
world through websites. Another major advantage of this project is, we are
using IEEE 802.15.4 device for wireless data transmission. This device is one
of the latest Transceiver approved by IEEE team. And it can transmit data with
high Baud Rate (2.5GHZ). So this is very better than Bluetooth devices.
